Endorsements highlight commitment to building a pro-choice majority in the Virginia House of Delegates

Alexandria, Va. – NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia PAC, the political action arm of the Commonwealth’s leading pro-choice advocacy and organizing group, announced its second round of endorsements for the 2017 Virginia House of Delegates races today, highlighting fourteen incumbents:

“We know that each of these candidates have and will continue to work tirelessly to protect reproductive health and freedom in the House of Delegates,” said Tarina Keene, executive director of NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia PAC. “The delegates we are endorsing today have been steadfast supporters of reproductive rights throughout their time in the House of Delegates. Virginians can continue to count on these pro-choice champions to stand strong against ongoing attacks on reproductive health and freedom.

“With continued attacks on reproductive health and rights coming from Washington, there is so much on the line this year. That’s why we will do everything we can to tip the balance for reproductive freedom in the House of Delegates. That starts with holding the line and the seats we already have. NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia PAC is proud to endorse such an excellent group of incumbents, and we look forward to working with them for many years to come.”

NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia PAC supports candidates who will challenge the anti-choice majority in the General Assembly and will support the rights of Virginia women to access the full gamut of reproductive health care, including abortion.
