Endorsements highlight commitment to building a pro-choice majority in the Virginia House of Delegates

Alexandria, Va. – Today, NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia PAC, the political action arm of the Commonwealth’s leading pro-choice advocacy and organizing group, announced the endorsement of 26 new candidates for the House of Delegates.

Tarina Keene, executive director of NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia PAC, stated that the endorsements of these outstanding pro-choice candidates are part of the organization’s plan to build pro-choice majorities in the Virginia General Assembly.

“These candidates will stand up against attacks on reproductive health and freedom in the General Assembly and work to advance commonsense, proactive legislation that actually improves healthcare access for women in the Commonwealth,” said Keene. “With so much on the line this year and continued attacks from Washington and Richmond threatening our ability to access the full range of reproductive healthcare, it’s more important than ever that we elect strong, pro-choice legislators to the House of Delegates. I’m confident these candidates are up to the challenge and we are proud and excited to endorse them.”

NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia PAC supports candidates who will challenge the anti-choice majority in the General Assembly and will support the rights of Virginia women to access the full gamut of reproductive healthcare, including abortion.
