Endorsement highlights commitment to holding and strengthening our pro-choice majority in the Virginia House of Delegates
Alexandria, VA – NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia PAC, the political action arm of the Commonwealth’s leading pro-reproductive freedom advocacy organization, announced its endorsement of Holly Hazard for House District 38.
“Holly is an advocate at her core. She knows her community, and she understands her district’s and the Commonwealth’s pressing issues. As a lawyer and policy advocate, she knows how to take on big fights and win. She is the kind of leader and fighter we need in Richmond, willing and able to push back against the status quo. With Roe hanging by a thread, it’s all hands on deck to protect and expand reproductive healthcare access and rights, and we need Holly with us as we head into the fight of our lives. This is her time to lead HD38,” says Tarina Keene, executive director of NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia.
With the uber-conservative U.S. Supreme Court poised to overturn Roe v. Wade, keeping the pro-choice trifecta in Virginia and supporting candidates like Holly Hazard, who will protect and advance abortion care access despite what the Court does to Roe, is critical.
“I’m honored to earn the endorsement of NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia, the leading reproductive freedom advocacy group in the Commonwealth. I’ve been fighting for people’s fundamental right to reproductive freedom my whole life and look forward to continuing this effort standing with NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia and their mission,” says Holly Hazard
Delegate Kaye Kory, the other candidate in this race, received a 100% on our rigorous candidate questionnaire. She shares our values and principles when it comes to protecting and advancing reproductive freedom in Virginia.
NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia supports candidates who loudly and proudly stand up to protect and advance Virginians’ access to abortion care, birth control, and the full range of reproductive healthcare.
