Are you tired of getting into arguments over politics that never go anywhere? Or maybe you’re tired of staying quiet to keep the peace? We’ve got you covered either way.
In our training, Politics At The Dinner Table, we will give you the tools to engage your friends and family members across the political spectrum in productive conversations around polarizing topics from abortion to policing.
Our interactive training is a combination of relational organizing best practices and deep canvassing tactics. “Relational organizing” is defined as simply facilitating conversations between friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers and has been found to be three times more effective at mobilizing and persuading people than traditional outreach done by strangers. Deep canvassing is a way of having conversations based on shared values which encourages sharing and listening rather than stating facts or statistics. Deep canvassing has been shown to be one of the only effective ways to impact prejudices and biases.
