Kathryn Cramer joined NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia in 2019 as the Donor and Special Events coordinator where she manages donor relations, data management, and stewardship events.
Kathryn graduated from American University with a BA in International Relations and a minor in Arabic. While studying abroad in Jordan, she interned with a nonprofit nongovernmental agency aiming to empower young women by teaching teamwork through sports. Through this opportunity, Kathryn experienced firsthand how a refugee community can thrive when there is an investment in services for women. Since returning to the United States, Kathryn has worked at an environmental nonprofit agency learning valuable skills related to her interests in nonprofit management and development.
In her free time, Kathryn is involved in activities focusing on her passion for social justice issues and volunteering with the Washington D.C. Peace Team. Her participation in competitive sports, volleyball, lacrosse, and ruby, not only provided her with exercise opportunities but taught her the importance of teamwork and building relationships. Kathryn is dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion in her work. She strongly believes reproductive care and abortion access are basic rights for all.
