Nicole Liberatore joined the NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia team in 2015 and manages specialized advocacy programs that foster growth and leadership among NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia’s grassroots base. In particular, Nicole oversees our annual Legislative Rapid Response Team, established and manages our exciting “Rise up for Repro” Student Advocacy Fellowship, and coordinates our statewide Leadership & Advocacy Summits. Nicole graduated from George Mason University with a degree in Conflict Analysis and Resolution, where she focused on gender and sexual violence in international conflict. In 2014, Nicole attended our Northern Virginia Leadership & Advocacy Summit and began volunteering with NPCV at local farmer’s markets. Soon, Nicole realized there was plenty of work to be done right here in the Commonwealth, and Virginia has been her focus ever since. Before joining NPCV, she worked with mediation and restorative justice programs in Fairfax County Public Schools. From that experience, she carries her emotionally-supportive work style and applies it to supporting and empowering our network of grassroots activists. In her spare time, Nicole loves all things baking, and you can find her practicing her food photography skills at @bisnonnabakeshop.
